2000 - TODAY
Crossroads Church wouldn't be where it is today without it's humble beginnings and the the guidance of God.
Crossroads Church of God of Prophecy was established on June 29, 2003 when Claylick Church of God of Prophecy and White Bluff Church of God of Prophecy officially merged together. This was a process of approximately four years in the making. Both former churches had been well established in the White Bluff area for at least 70 years with each church being about 8 miles apart from one another. The pastors along with the leadership of both former congregations began to seek about the real possibility of the two congregations coming together for the greater good of impacting their community for Jesus Christ in a greater way.
In 2000 the congregations purchased a 6.7 acre field at the corner of state highways 47 and 250 that included a 3 bedroom brick house and concrete block garage/storage building for the purpose of one day building a new worship facility. In August 2005 a new 12,000 square foot worship facility was completed at a cost of approximately 1.2 million dollars. The congregation was able to retire this debt in June 2016 of which we give God all praise!
Bishop Gary and Joyce Riley
Pastor Gary Riley is an ordained Bishop in the Church of God of Prophecy and has served as the Senior Pastor for Crossroads Church since August 2003. He and his wife, Joyce, were married in 1975 and have one daughter, Crystal Bryant, who with her husband, Barkey, and their three children Daphne, Eli, and Finley live out of state. Pastor Gary and Joyce have a passion to see people come to know Jesus Christ and become an active part of the body of Christ.
